Accessibility Commitment

Healing belongs to everyone. We're building the Sacred Healing Summit website and event with accessibility and inclusion in mind.

This page is maintained by Sacred Healing Summit to describe our accessibility practices and goals. It reflects our current approach, not a certification or legal guarantee.

Our Commitment

Sacred Healing Summit is committed to creating a welcoming experience for people of all abilities. We believe accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time checklist, and we are working to make both this website and the in-person event as inclusive as possible.

Website Accessibility

We are designing this website with the following practices in mind:

  • Clear heading structure and semantic HTML
  • Descriptive text alternatives for images
  • Keyboard-navigable forms and interactive elements
  • Sufficient color contrast for readability
  • Focus indicators on interactive elements
  • Responsive layouts that work on a range of screen sizes
  • Meaningful link text and labels

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a target, while recognizing that accessibility is a continuous effort.

Event Accessibility

As the Sacred Healing Summit takes shape, we are planning for an inclusive event experience. Specific accommodations will be shared closer to the event date, and we welcome requests in advance. Our planning includes consideration for:

  • Accessible venue access and seating
  • Quiet or low-stimulation spaces
  • Clear signage and wayfinding
  • Dietary accommodation requests
  • Virtual or hybrid participation options where feasible
  • Communication support requests

Third-Party Content

Some parts of this Site may link to or embed third-party services (such as social media platforms, analytics tools, or payment processors). We do not control the accessibility of those services and encourage you to review their accessibility statements.

Feedback & Accommodation Requests

We welcome feedback on how we can improve accessibility. If you experience barriers on this website or would like to request an accommodation for the event, please contact us:

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is a journey. We review the Site regularly, listen to feedback, and make updates as resources and capabilities allow. Thank you for helping us build a more inclusive experience.
